Topic:  Neoliberalism practices and critical thinking at Colombian  Public Education

Thesis: Neoliberalism goes against critical thinking  on public Colombian Education.

Introduction: One of the main characteristics of Neoliberalism, is that private administration is more efficient than public administration. Therefore, as long as more institutions become private, they compete between them to become more efficient in terms of making money. Thus, people need to get prepared for a society in which critical thinking does not play as an important role as working for one of those institutions and making money.

Topic sentences: Neoliberalism represents pretty much institutions´ need to be independent and more efficient in terms of gaining making.

Supporting sentence 1: By getting their own resources, institutions would not have the need to borrow them from external agents.

Supporting sentence 2: In that way, it seems to be that much more and different initiatives can prosper and support themselves.

Topic sentence: Education becomes a mean for private purposes.

Supporting sentence 1:  Education search to respond to social needs, those social needs are Neoliberalist.

Supporting sentence 2: Public education now does not need to prepare critical thinkers but the efficient employer.

Supporting sentence 3:  People get prepared to do simple tasks in the minor time possible.

Supporting sentence: Public Education is not asked to prepare people to be free.

Supporting sentence 2: Critical thinking is not needed because Neoliberalism does not care about it.
